Multi-hip

The multi-hip works one leg at a time in all four directions of the hip joint. A stainless steel goniometer sets the starting angle for each of them, and the support platform is adjusted on a gas piston and slides on a ball-bearing guide, so the height of the pivot is matched to the athlete’s leg length.

The 50 kg stack is built from 2.5 kg plates, which gives the fine progression this kind of single-joint work needs. The chassis is 3 mm reinforced steel in matt black powder coating, with stainless steel plate guides, a magnetically retained selector, non-slip rubber grips and adjustable levellers.
