Dip / chin assist

The machine makes dips and pull-ups accessible to an athlete who cannot yet lift full body weight, and it lets a stronger user set a fixed assistance for higher repetition work. The knee platform is adjusted by a gas piston and slides on a ball-bearing guide; the load selected on the stack is the weight taken off the athlete, not added. A second folding platform lets the machine be used alone, without a spotter.

The frame is 3 mm reinforced steel in matt black powder coating, 218 cm high. The 75 kg stack uses 5 kg plates on stainless steel guides with a magnetically retained selector, and the grips are covered in non-slip rubber.
