Abductor and adductor machines
The pair loads the hip in the frontal plane: the abductor machine (AVSA1019) works the outer hip as the knees are driven apart, the adductor machine (AVSA1020) works the inner thigh as they are brought together. In both the athlete sits on an anatomic seat and a five-position stainless steel goniometer sets the starting position, which also limits the opening angle — useful when the range has to be kept short.
Both frames are 3 mm reinforced steel in matt black powder coating, with 75 kg stacks of 5 kg plates on stainless steel guides, magnetically retained selectors, thermoformed covers with a tray on top and adjustable levellers.
