Abdominal and lumbar machines
The pair covers the trunk: the abdominal machine loads flexion, the lumbar machine loads extension of the lower back. Both seat the athlete on an anatomic seat, the lever arm is adjustable in height for the length of the torso, and a five-position stainless steel goniometer sets the starting angle and the range of the movement.
The frames are 3 mm reinforced steel in matt black powder coating, with identical footprints. Each carries a 75 kg stack of 5 kg plates on stainless steel guides, a magnetically retained selector pin, a thermoformed cover with a tray on top and adjustable levellers. A pictogram and a QR code to a video are fitted to the frame.
