Ice Cover Pro modular ice-rink covering
Ice Cover Pro closes an ice rink for concerts, shows, exhibitions, roller hockey and other events held between ice sessions. Each module carries the whole build-up in one piece: a 3 mm rubber top layer with a reflection-breaking surface, an 18 mm birch plywood load distribution board to EN 13986 and EN 636-2S, 45 mm of rigid polystyrene foam insulation and a 0.4 mm hard PVC bottom layer, about 67 mm in total.
Because the layers are already joined, the floor is laid in a single pass and the modules are held together by a patented aluminium interlocking system. The module measures 2400 x 600 mm, covers 1.44 m2 and weighs about 32 kg, roughly 22 kg per square metre of finished floor. The top layer comes in dark or light grey.
