Cycling ergometer with electronic resistance
A long-frame cycling ergometer for fitness rooms and testing areas. Load is electronically controlled and held constant from 0 to 600 W in 1 W steps across a cadence range of 3 to 130 rpm, and the drive is by belt. The overall height of 120 cm keeps sight lines open across a hall.
The 10.1-inch resistive touch console runs Linux with Wi-Fi, web TV and radio, USB and RS232. Heart rate comes from hand grips and from a chest belt. AVRN1008 is the same frame with a magnetic brake and an LCD console powered by batteries, for rooms without a socket at each machine.
