Exercise bike with electronic resistance
A belt-driven bike with electronic control of the load: resistance is held constant from 0 to 600 W in steps of 1 W over a cadence range of 3 to 130 rpm, which makes the machine usable for prescribed wattage sessions and not only for free riding. The saddle height is set by a selector and transport wheels are supplied.
The 10.1-inch resistive touch console runs Linux with Wi-Fi, web TV and radio, a USB port and an RS232 port. Heart rate is read twice over, from hand grips and from a chest belt. The magnetic version AVRN1006 shares the frame and uses an LCD console with a manually set brake, which suits a hotel or club room where no mains socket is available at the machine.
