Lane marking system for rowing and canoe-kayak
The course is marked by longitudinal wires carrying the lane buoys, held by cross cables laid out for the wind and the flow at the venue, so the lanes keep their line. The wires follow the water level, which keeps the marking in place when the level of the course changes. Besides the lane buoys the delivery includes the other course marking the rules require, among it flag buoys and the numbered buoys at the finish line.
The change-over system (PCOS) converts the course between canoe-kayak and rowing configurations within a few hours, so both programmes can be run one after the other, and the conversion can be carried out at the same time as the start system is installed. Materials are corrosion resistant, installation needs only regular watercraft and a small amount of diver work, and the system is compatible with the Polaritas starting system. It is delivered turn-key, with the layout worked out for the site, training for the local staff, and spare parts and tools for repair on site. Certified by FISA and ICF.
