Ski jumping timing and scoring system
At the top of the hill a start display with a starting light and an acoustic horn gives the jumper the timing information for the attempt. A speed module evaluates inrun speed using light barriers and passes it to a compact four-digit speed display, while a trainer scoreboard repeats athlete data on a double spaced twelve-digit display. Anemometers along the hill work with the dedicated wind monitoring software.
The scoring and management application prepares and runs the competition, and the Video Distance Measurement System measures the length of the jump digitally. The composition of a set depends on the hill and on the level of competition; the system is FIS approved.
