Judges flag
Judges signal with the flag across the length of a stadium, where a voice does not carry: white for a valid trial or a clear lane, red for a foul, held up to hold a start or to show the referee that a section is not ready.
The flag is cloth on a plastic pole with a handgrip, and is supplied in red or white.
