Rake for the sand pit

The pit has to be levelled after every jump, or the next mark cannot be measured against a flat surface. This rake is galvanised steel, which is what survives being left in wet sand at the side of the pit through a season.

The steel coated trowel that goes with it is the tool for filling and smoothing the plasticine mould on the take-off board.
