Lap scoreboard
The lap counter stands at the finish line in the distance races and shows the leader how many laps are left. Two numbered indicators from 0 to 9 are turned by hand on a galvanized steel structure with a solid base that holds the board upright on the infield.
A bronze track bell on a chain is part of the article: it is rung as the leader begins the final lap, the signal the rules require for the last lap.
