Portable sports floor series 1008 and 1009
Both series are laid as ready panels with a 22 mm solid wood top layer and are taken up again when the hall is needed for something else. Series 1008 panels measure 910 x 1830 x 83 mm and weigh 38 kg; the top layer is nailed to a wooden double understructure, and a perimeter iron joint brings the panels together quickly before a central adjustable bolt locks them. Series 1009 is the lighter build: 645 x 1830 x 55 mm, 29 kg per panel, an 18 mm plywood bottom layer and special metal fasteners between panels.
The figure that matters in planning is the time on site: a 19 x 32 m court of 608 square metres in series 1009 is normally dismantled by four workers in about four hours. Both series are FIBA approved, declared to EN 14904 and hold an EN 13501 fire reaction certificate.
