Sport floor series 1004 with Air Flex rubber cushion

Series 1004 raises the solid hevea surface on a 30 mm neoprene cushion of conic trapezoidal shape, stapled to the structure beneath. The cone deforms progressively, so the floor stays firm under a standing load and gives way under a landing; that behaviour is what the build was developed for and why it is offered for professional competition.

Under the cushions the spring layer is two plywood plates of 12 mm each, stapled to one another, and a 0.20 mm polyethylene sheet separates the whole structure from the concrete. The 22 mm solid top layer is nailed to the spring layer with T-shaped nails; the total build-up is 76 mm. Declared to EN 14904 with an EN 13501 fire reaction certificate.
