Sport floor series 1002 on fir battens and neoprene

Series 1002 is the tall build of the range, developed for basketball and for any sport that needs a high and repeatable ball rebound together with deep, controlled deflection under a landing. Fir battens 23 mm thick and 50 mm wide, 3000 to 4000 mm long, are laid parallel at roughly 400 mm spacing; 15 mm neoprene rubber pads are nailed to them to give the resilience and absorb the impact.

Above the battens sits a double spring layer of fir boards with trapezoid neoprene elements, and the top layer is a pre-lacquered solid parquet 22 mm thick. The total build-up is 83 mm. FIBA certified, declared to EN 14904 and holding an EN 13501 fire reaction certificate.
