Steeplechase hurdle
The hurdle bar is laminated pinewood from northern Sweden, which holds its line under the weight of an athlete stepping on it, and the understructure is powder coated steel. Height is adjustable for the men’s and women’s steeplechase.
Two lengths are catalogued, 3.96 m for the four barriers on the lap and 5 m for the water jump barrier, both with a World Athletics certificate. A movable set of galvanized ballasted steel barriers is also available where the obstacles have to be cleared from the track after the event.
