Steeplechase Water Pit
The barrier is built into the water jump of a steeplechase course: the understructure is powder coated steel for embedment in the concrete of the pit, and the hurdle bar is solid wood. The length is 366 cm and the height is adjustable for the men’s and women’s events.
It is specified when a stadium is built or when the water jump is rebuilt, and it carries a World Athletics certificate.
