Carbon javelins
The carbon javelins are the stiffest of the range, with flex ratings from 4.8 to 5.9. A stiff shaft returns the energy of the throw quickly and rewards a thrower who can put a clean, fast pull through the implement; the manufacturer states plainly that these models need a high level of physical and technical capacity.
Within the group the models are separated by the wind they are made for: Champion and Diana for a headwind, Orbit for a tailwind, Eagle and Olympia as all-round javelins. Two weights are covered, 600 g and 800 g, and every article carries an IAAF certificate.
