Starter’s rostrum

The rostrum puts the starter high enough to see every athlete in the set position along the line, which is what the rules require before the gun. The structure is painted steel with two steps of CTBX plywood and anti-slip protection on the treads.

Rubber wheels let one official move it from one start to the next, and a multi-purpose bag is supplied with it. A version with plain wooden steps and a galvanized steel starter’s stool are catalogued alongside.
