Indoor shot put throwing landing system
Indoors the shot has to be stopped where it lands rather than allowed to roll or bounce across a hall floor. The mats are moulded polyurethane foam chosen for the absence of rebound, 42 mm thick, laid out over the landing area of the sector to the shape the hall allows.
One mat measures 200 x 100 cm, so the sector is built up from as many units as the throwing distances require and taken apart again for the next event.
