Reinforced discus circle with cross bracing
The discus circle is 2.50 m in diameter, larger than the shot and hammer ring, and the same requirement applies: the diameter has to be exact after the concrete has set. The circle comes as two painted steel sections with welded cross bracing that bolt together and hold the ring true through the in-ground installation.
This article stands 70 mm high and carries IAAF certificate no. E-99-0095; the 50 mm version is catalogued alongside it, and plain steel circles for embedment are available as separate articles.
