Reinforced shot and hammer circle
The circle defines the throwing area of the shot put and the hammer and has to hold an exact 2.135 m diameter after it is set in the ground. It is supplied as two painted steel sections with welded cross bracing that bolt together, so the ring keeps its shape while the concrete is poured around it.
The rim of this article stands 70 mm high; the same circle is catalogued at 50 mm, and steel circles for embedment are available as separate articles.
