Steeplechase water jump barrier

This is the barrier that stands in front of the water jump on the steeplechase course, where the athlete lands on the beam before stepping into the pit. The beam is laminated wood of 127 x 127 mm section painted in two colours in accordance with the rules, and the height is set to 76 or 91 cm with a secured double tightening system.

Two mountings are catalogued. The surface-mounted version is fixed to the existing surface with no concrete casting, which suits a track that is being refitted; the second version comes with ground sleeves to be cast into the concrete of a new water jump.
