Swimming timing and scoring system
The system covers a swimming competition from start to protocol. A QUANTUM timer in main and backup configuration runs the competition handling software; OCP5 touchpads at the wall take the swimmer’s own finish; OSB14 starting blocks, or OSB11 on a smaller base, carry an adjustable footrest and an anti-slip surface, and the OBL2 backstroke ledge mounts on either block for backstroke starts. StartTime V gives the start with a flash and a loudspeaker at each lane.
Results go to a PICCOLO or CALYPSO scoreboard, or to a video LED display where the venue shows splits, names and rankings on one surface. The composition of a given set follows the pool: lane count, indoor or outdoor, and the level of competition the venue is built for. The system is World Aquatics Approved.
