Speed skating timing system

Long track speed skating is timed on light barriers: a multi-channel timer with a certified clock takes every lap and every finish, an electronic start gun with StartTime V and a mobile loudspeaker starts the race, and the MYRIA photo finish camera covers the line. A lap counter and a GEMINI nine-digit lap and rolling time board, or a LED display for speed skating, keep the skaters and the arena on the same information.

For team pursuit and mass start, where fixed barriers cannot separate the field, a transponder-based timing system is available as an option. A PC with participant and competition management software runs the programme; the system is ISU certified.
