Track cycling timing system
On a velodrome the system is built around a rack of timers, with a transponder system that counts laps and takes split times without a barrier across the track. MYRIA photo finish cameras cover the line for sprint and keirin finishes.
Timed events start from starting gates with semaphores, which release the rider and open the timing channel in the same action. Running time and lap information are shown on a scoreboard or on a video LED display. The set complies with UCI requirements; its configuration depends on the track.
