StartTime V with electronic start device
StartTime V is the starter’s unit: a sound generation box with an internal amplifier and loudspeaker, supplied here with the E-Gun electronic start device. Pressing the trigger plays the start sound, fires the flash and sends the start impulse to the QUANTUM timer in the same instant; a second press within a set delay plays the recall sound.
In a pool the line output drives lane loudspeakers — mobile units on the deck or speakers built into the starting blocks — so that every swimmer hears the signal at the same time. The set includes headset with microphone, charger, cable and transport case, and runs on its internal battery. The E-Gun is not compatible with StartTime IV.
