OMEGA SCAN’O’VISION MYRIA 16 camera
MYRIA is the photofinish camera of the OMEGA athletics system. It reads a single vertical line of 2048 pixels aligned with the finish line and repeats it up to 2000 times a second, building the image from which the judges read every athlete’s time and place in the order of crossing.
The camera sits on a four-axis head with a digital inclinometer, so the line of the sensor can be set on the finish line and checked. The integrated 16x motor zoom is driven from the software, together with focus and iris, and the operator does not have to touch the camera once it is aligned. Image and control run over Gigabit Ethernet on a single cable that also carries the power, and the Windows software, the 10 m cables and the mains injector are supplied with it.
