OMEGA OSB11 starting block with RBD
OSB11 is a fibreglass starting block with an extended 740 mm platform, an anti-slip top surface and a footrest that adjusts over a 200 mm range in five steps. A door at the back of the block gives access to the inside for the cabling of a mobile or a fixed timing system, and for the internal loudspeaker.
This version carries relay break detection. The platform contact reports the moment the swimmer leaves the block, so the QUANTUM can measure the relay take-over and the reaction time at the start. It is the version required where relay exchanges are judged electronically. The contact is calibrated with the OSB dynamometer. Single blocks are supplied without mounting material; only the sets of 3 to 10 include it.
