OMEGA CALYPSO White scoreboard, 8 digits / 1 line
CALYPSO is a modular numeric display: one line shows the lane, the rank and the time for one swimmer, and lines are stacked or set side by side to cover the whole pool. This article is a single line of eight 24 cm digits, each made of 150 white LEDs, in an aluminium housing.
Brightness follows the ambient light, so the board holds its contrast indoors and outdoors and stays readable at up to 150 m. It is driven over RS422 from the QUANTUM swimming program or from the CALYPSO water polo controller, and is serviced from the front. Mounting kits are ordered to suit the number of lines and the layout.
