Mobile cabling for start and telephone
A cable on a winder that brings both the start signal and the voice line from a start position on the track back to the control room. The cable is 100 m long and ends in a TU 4pM connector at one side and two TU 4pF connectors at the other, so the start system and the telephone set share the same run.
Up to four winders can be chained one after another, which is enough to reach every start position on an outdoor track: 100 m, 200 m, 400 m and 1500 m. The winders are laid out before a session and recovered afterwards, so no permanent cabling is needed in the ground.
