Water polo time-out request system

Each coach keeps one remote control. Pressing the button stops the timer, sounds the buzzer, starts the time-out timer and puts it on the scoreboard, and lights a green dot for the team so the number of time-outs already used is visible from the pool deck. The receiver is integrated into the main control console or into the portable W-TOP board.

The link is radio, working up to 30 m, and the system is used indoors and outdoors. It removes the step where a coach has to catch the secretary’s eye before the request is registered.
