Skate holder H8

H8 is the universal holder: it grips almost any skate, which is what a public rink needs when the rental stock is mixed and a queue of pairs goes through the machine without sorting. It is the holder supplied in the SSM-2/SM6 configuration, together with the SM6 profiling device.

At 2.2 kg it is heavier than the H5, the weight coming with the wider clamping range. A sharpening room that serves both a club and public sessions usually keeps both holders on the bench.
