Riveting machine
A rink repairs skates as well as sharpens them: blades are replaced, holders work loose, rivets in the boot pull out over a season. This riveting machine sets tubular and copper rivets by hand, multiplying the force applied at the lever 23 times, so the joint is closed evenly without a press or a power tool.
The frame is stainless steel with 120 mm between the upper and the lower tool holder, the clearance needed to bring a boot and blade into the tools. The N-21 tool set, used for removing and setting rivets and for exchanging blades, is supplied with the machine.
