Pole Vault Crossbar 4.5 m
The crossbar is the piece the vaulter has to clear, and its length and end pieces are set by the rules: 4.5 m for pole vault, with ends that sit on the holders of the uprights. This bar is made of fibreglass with end pieces approved to the current IAAF rules.
The anti-roll version has half-circle ends that lower the centre of gravity, so the bar is far less likely to roll off the holder in wind. Training bars of the same length are catalogued for daily use.
