Balance beam with velour working surface
A 5 m beam whose working part is a special aluminium profile with velour upholstery. The competition article adds a thick soft underlay beneath the working surface; the training article uses the same profile without it.
The adjustable base is built from an 80 x 40 x 3 mm profile with a galvanized 70 x 70 x 3 mm support and an 80 x 80 x 4 mm powder-coated steel support. The low article has a fixed base of 60 x 40 mm steel box profile bolted to the beam through 105 x 5 mm perforated plates, with protective caps on the legs.
