Life-saving training dummy
The dummy is used in lifeguard and lifesaving training: it is retrieved from the pool bottom, towed to the wall and lifted out, so a candidate practises the carry and the exit without a partner. Pool services and swimming clubs use it for staff certification and for the rescue section of a training plan.
The body is moulded polyethylene, orange with black markings so that it stays visible through the water, and two weights are fitted inside the back. Complete, the dummy weighs 8.5 kg and measures 1000 x 520 x 210 mm.
