Referees’ Structure Catwalk – World Aquatics
The catwalk is the raised walkway the referees use along the side of the water polo field. It is 1000 mm wide and 700 mm high and matches the length of the field: 32 m, or 33.6 m with the stairs, assembled from 2000 mm sections with a hook-on system, plus two 0.5 m steps with rises of 200 and 400 mm.
The structure is solid and waterproof with an anti-slip cover. The field-of-play colour markings are supplied as a roll-out matting to the water polo rule revision effective March 2019, with an add-on that changes the layout between the men’s and the women’s field. It is an official product for European Aquatics and World Aquatics.
