Competitor Gold Lane Numbers

The lane number tells the swimmers, the officials and the spectators which lane is which. Each sign is soft black and yellow foam, numbered on both sides, and clips onto a Ø 150 mm Gold disc with a plastic clip; two pairs of weights hold it upright on the line.

The standard series runs blank / 1 to 8 / blank, so an eight-lane pool with nine lane lines needs eighteen signs when they are placed at both ends. A ten-lane championship layout with eleven lane lines needs twenty-two, with a “0” and a “9” lane added to lanes 1 to 8.
