Folding tumbling track

A track section that folds concertina fashion down to 200 x 100 x 10 cm and weighs 8 kg, so one person carries and lays it. Two folding designs are used: a stitched groove and a hook-and-loop linking strip 100 mm wide, which also joins one section to the next.

Sections are joined into a continuous run — three 4 m sections move and store more easily than one 12 m track — and non-standard lengths can be made. The track is used for acrobatic and tumbling work in gymnastics halls.
