Standard safety mat with attachment strips
The same construction as the traditional safety mat, with hook-and-loop attachment strips added: single-density foam of 21 kg/m³ under a 1,000 denier phthalate-free PVC cover with a class M2 fire rating, carrying handles, non-slip base, decompression holes or a grid and reinforced corners.
The strips let a row of mats be fastened together, which keeps the surface closed where the gymnast may land across a join. Both sizes are recorded as compliant with NF-EN 12503.
