Additional top landing mat, FIG
A top mat is placed on the assembled landing area to add a further 10 cm of cushioning where the gymnast lands. The cover is 1,000 denier phthalate-free PVC, the base is non-slip, and hook-and-loop strips with a linking bib hold the mat to the layer underneath.
The two 600 x 200 cm articles are for vaulting: the cover reproduces the regulation landing surface of 0.95 x 1.50 m so the judged area stays visible, and AVK records AVGY1048 as compulsory in FIG competition. The 400 x 200 cm mat is used over beam and bar landing areas, the 200 x 200 cm mat wherever a single extra layer is needed.
