Custom landing mat for beam with base cut-outs, FIG
The mats of a beam landing area have to meet the apparatus without leaving a gap at its feet. These articles are cut so that the mat closes around the beam bases and the surface stays level right up to the apparatus. Construction is the same as the traditional FIG mat: multi-layer foam 20 cm thick under a removable 1,000 denier phthalate-free PVC cover with a class M2 fire rating.
Five sizes cover the positions of the competition beam layout, from the 200 x 150 cm end piece to the 450 x 200 cm long side. Each mat has carrying handles and a hook-and-loop bib that fastens it to the neighbouring mat.
