Sets of landing mats for competition apparatus, FIG
A set contains every mat one apparatus layout needs, including the pieces with cut-outs that close around the apparatus bases and, in some sets, a 10 cm top mat laid over the landing zone. The mats are 20 cm multi-layer foam under a removable 1,000 denier phthalate-free PVC cover with a class M2 fire rating, joined by hook-and-loop strips on the top side so that no gap opens between them, and fitted with carrying handles.
Total covered area runs from 15.60 m² for a vault set to 52 m² for a beam set. Sets are the practical way to equip a competition hall, since the shapes and the order of the pieces are already worked out for the FIG layout of that apparatus.
