Competition high bar
The men’s high bar for competition. The rotating heads are machined from solid steel and their two rotation axes are laid out to give a gimbal action, so the rail turns without jolting under a release move. The uprights are 70 mm steel tube, the cables are coated, and rapid tensioners let the apparatus be assembled and taken down quickly.
Height is set between 2.70 and 2.95 m and the feet are non-slip. The standard cable version needs 5.50 x 4 m of floor; the short cable version needs 2 x 4 m. Both are FIG approved.
