Vault approach and riser panel
A foam panel laid at the end of the runway so that the run-up, the springboard area and the base of the vaulting table sit at one level. The panel is 25 mm thick and its size is set so that no step is left between the runway and the table.
The competition panel is 3.10 x 1 m with a 1.30 x 1 m extension and is FIG approved. The training version is a freestanding 3.10 x 1.50 m panel with the same extension, joined by hook-and-loop strips and supplied with anchoring points; it suits halls where the floor cannot be drilled.
