Vault runway
The run-up for the vault. The competition runway is 25 x 1 m and 25 mm thick, made of a flame-pattern carpet bonded to dynamic foam over a non-slip base, and it is FIG approved. The training runway is narrower and thinner, 25 x 0.66 m at 17 mm, on the same carpet-and-foam principle.
Two accessories are catalogued with the runway: a 30 m measuring tape for setting the gymnast’s run-up mark, and grey adhesive strips for fixing the tape to the surface.
