Pole-vault upright setting indicator board

The board stands beside the runway and shows the displacement at which the uprights are set for the attempt in progress. It turns through 360°, so the same board is read by the athlete, the judges and the spectators.

It is mounted on a heavy base and needs no fixing to the surface, which is what makes it usable on a synthetic track.
