Sand pit cover for long jump and triple jump
An open sand pit collects rain, leaves and everything else that blows across a stadium, and the sand has to be dug over before the next session. The cover is sewn from 1000 denier PVC fabric to the measurements of the pit and closes it between sessions.
Where the pit is covered permanently and walked or run over, the rigid aluminium lid is used instead: panels on 90 mm aluminium frames with flush handles, prepared to take a 12 mm track surface on top.
