Steeplechase water jump cover
Outside the steeplechase season the water jump is a hole in the infield. This cover closes it: an understructure of galvanised steel beams on a set of supports, adjustable in height and in length to the pit that is actually there, carrying heavy duty aluminium panels on top.
The panels are made to be surfaced with synthetic resin or another suitable material, so the finished cover is walked and run over like the rest of the track.
